✳️ 2025 Focus: Standing Together Against Hate

At AWIC, we have always stood against hate, racism, and all forms of discrimination impacting our communities. Over the years, we’ve continuously worked to amplify voices that are often overlooked — especially those of seniors who face unique challenges rooted in racism, xenophobia, and social exclusion.

From 2024, we having started to deepening this commitment with a renewed focus on anti-hate education and advocacy, centering the lived experiences of racialized and immigrant seniors. From language barriers and cultural isolation to discrimination in healthcare, housing, and access to meaningful community support — these are issues that often go unseen, yet have a lasting impact on individuals and families.

This year, we are not just continuing the conversation — we are bringing it to the forefront.

Together, we can build a more inclusive, compassionate society — one where every senior is treated with the dignity and respect they deserve.
